To use Web Folders

Using Web Folders, you can work with files and folders that are on a Web server just as you would with files and folders in My Computer or Windows Explorer.

Some examples of servers that support Web Folders are WebDAV (World Wide Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning) and Microsoft FrontPage servers. To find out what servers are set up for Web Folders, check with your system administrator.

  1. On the File menu in Internet Explorer, click Open.
  2. Select the Open as Web Folder check box.
  3. Type the Web address that you have been provided.
